Welcome to TRAH (The Remnant Adventist Hymnals Application). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our hymn application.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

a. Google Account Information

When you sign in using Google Authentication, we collect:

  • Your Google account email address
  • Your display name
  • Your Google user ID (for unique identification)

We do not collect your password.

b. User Content & Collections

The App allows you to create collections and favorites. This data is:

  • Stored locally on your device
  • Automatically synchronized to our secure cloud servers (Firebase) to ensure you don't lose data if you switch devices.

c. Feedback Data

If you use the "User Feedback" feature, we collect:

  • The message content you provide
  • Your device platform (e.g., Android, iOS) for debugging purposes
  • Your User ID and Email (to contact you regarding the issue, if necessary)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Authenticate your identity using Google Sign-In.
  • Automatically back up and sync your collections and favorites across your devices.
  • Address bugs and improve the App based on your feedback.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not access your personal Google Drive files.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Cloud Storage: Your collections and feedback are stored securely on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore).
  • Security: We leverage Google's industry-standard security infrastructure to protect your data. Access to the database is restricted and secured via Google Authentication rules.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

Your data is shared only with:

  • Google Firebase: Used as our backend service provider for authentication and database storage.

6. User Control and Data Deletion

We provide full control over your data in compliance with Google Play Data Safety policies:

  • Stop Synchronization: Simply sign out of the application via the menu. No further data will be sent to the cloud.
  • In-App Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly within the app. Go to Menu > Delete Account. This action is irreversible.
  • Web Request for Deletion: If you cannot access the app, you may email us to request the deletion of your account data.

Deleting your account removes your User ID, Favorites, Collections, and Login Credentials from our servers immediately.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App or on this page with an updated effective date.
